But for some children, especially those with cerebral palsy, crawling can prove difficult if not impossible and when children miss that important step, it can have a negative impact on mental development.
Now, though, a new high-tech device being tested at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, may change all of that.
The University of Oklahoma and Virginia Commonwealth University have jointly filed to patent the SIPPC (Sip-Sea) technology.
