Designed to meet growing and varied needs of entire OUHSC campus

The OU Health Sciences Center will soon welcome a new addition to the Oklahoma City campus – a 40,000-square-foot Education Center.

The Education Center is located adjacent to the new Children’s Atrium, which will also serve as its entrance. Funding, oversight and management of the new facility is provided by the University Hospitals Authority and Trust.

“This center has been designed from the ground up with the many varied needs of this campus in mind.  Ease of use and flexibility were a major focus for us and for our architects,” said Mike Samis, chairman of the Authority and Trust.

“Our goal is to ensure that each meeting or conference is a success from start to finish,” said Savannah Jacobsen, Education Center coordinator. “We offer a wide range of event planning assistance from help with catering and customized room design and layout to assistance meeting any technological needs. Our goal is to provide the all of the appropriate tools along with helpful assistance before and during each event.”
